The Change Roadmap was founded by Stephen Dantier. After spending many years in the project space as a practitioner, educator and practice lead, working across the key disciplines of business analysis, business improvement, project management and significantly in change management, Stephen gained a well-rounded perspective on organisations and change.
The Change Roadmap concept was born some years ago when Stephen was looking for a visual model that reflected change management components in one view, for the purposes of training. After researching, Stephen found no one model encapsulated all the key components well enough, so armed with all the research, he designed one. This initial model continued to evolve over time into the one that you see today. As a practitioner, the need for a practical framework was real, so Stephen decided to build substance behind the model, in the way of a process and templates. Road testing it on real change initiatives in its raw form, Stephen found it to be highly beneficial in guiding and managing the change work and for other people in understanding and performing change management. The concept and essence of the framework has been tested and refined through many change scenarios. Eventually, Stephen decided others should be able to benefit from it. So The Change Roadmap, the organisation, was born. The Change Roadmap the product, with its gathered learnings and evolution, was developed with the addition of technology, and released to the world in 2024.
